That looks great. What travel are you running the 40s at?
Can't beat the ATX for a budget thrasher,I put it up in the wanted section that i wanted one. It's for my girlfriend but I planned to build it up light and trail ride it myself.
Getting that paint off the swingarms a bitch,I did that myself once.
new shock DHX would top it off nicelly.

Thats a sweet ride man! Do you reckon anything would go wrong with it down a proper dh track?? No offence or anything.

How are yoou getting 7? Doesn't seem like you've squeezed a 200mm shock in there(standard 190mm?),also doesn't seem like you've lowered the lower shock mount hole, and they look like Giant links not the after market ones.
It's good that on slower more techy tracks you could steepen it up by going to 7"on the front.
7" front and rear is pritty much ideal for most tracks,I think most knowledgable riders would run that if sponshorship and the market place didn't dictate otherwise.
A soft drink bottle cap cut down a touch will fit in instead of those bearing covers to save a few grams or if you loose one.
The ATX 2 had a longer headtube, the extra length is on top isn't it?

I really like the look full blown techno industrial and super blue too. sweet looker does it feel comfortable to ride pre platform technology or is it just plush as mush with the 40 on the front?

He still contributed more to the thread than you did Giantrider. Learn to keep your mouth shut and have a couple of days off... only 'cause I'm tired, hungover and have to work today :)

You mean bastard.I must be in a bad way when halfway through the day I felt sorry for him... ban lifted :o

Back on topic, it's still a wicked bike and it itself is a "gravedig" so there's nothing wrong with resurrecting topics to talk about resurrected bikes.
