My rigid ss commuter bike.

I use it for getting to work and will put knobblies on it for future 100km races and other events. goes like a rocket on the tar.

This bike got damaged when my car got rear ended so it has the new front wheel and cranks that the nice insurance company paid for and also the surly front forks that cost me a case of beer.

Yeah I know, it looks a bit strange. But non MTB people are impressed and lets face it image is extremely important

They were cheap ($150 bucks the pair all up) and 'cause they are only bb5's they are really only equivalent to a set of 6' brakes.

work well when I take the time to tune them and given the speed I can get to on this thing a spot of stopping power doesn't go astray.
