Gday All,

I've been lookn into getting one of these for my rig. I've heard mixed reviews, some quite good, some not quite so good. To me it looks and sounds generally like a decent affordable shock. I do mainly rough trail/light DH (Red Hill, Oxford, The Damn, etc)
Has anyone had any experience with one of these, or know of anyone that uses one, if so, whats the verdict?

cheers,
Mik.

I had one a while ago on my downhill rig, and I didn't like it at all. For starters it had some valving problem that was apparently 'normal' which meant unless I ran absolute zero platform, it made this annoying squeeking noise.

Other than that it just didn't seem to work too well, I wasn't very technically adept back then so I can't really go into detail, it just seemed to struggle to soak up alot of the bumps, and just generally felt ordinary.

It might be alright just to start out on, but there are some cheap new and 2nd hand Swingers around which I reckon would be a better option.

Hey, i have one on my faith now, and i havnt really had any problmes with it, except for that squeeking noise. Its on my faith which is my first dually, and cause i have no experience with anything else, it isnt so bad.

How much do they retail for these days?, cause you might be better off buying a dhx or a swinger 6-way or something mroe high end

They retail new for around $300. I was thinkin of getting something 2nd hand from these very forums or ebay but then I thought I wouldn't mind the option of warranty and service etc.
I think for my ride style which is fast trail/lite DH or whatever it should be fine.. better than the Xfusion Glyde I've got on at this point anyway! ;)
