Anyone now the status of DH MTBing in the Dandenongs? We used to go from the channel 10 tower, but have been sprung by the ranger a couple of times who told us that we could be fined for using the tracks we were using. Apparently another ranger told my mates to keep using the tracks, so now I'm confused.
I know we would be happy to put some work into keeping the tracks safe and in good nick, but I'm aware that it's a national park and there are walkers etc.
Any other good areas for DH shuttle runs near the Rowville Area, Narbethong and Granton are the best I've found but a bit far away!
