Those bikes are apparently pretty light?

Thats for most bikes dual susp bikes.

I rode it yesterday and I forgot to pick it up to check the weight. Obviously it has been set up for Jase, but it feels pretty nice. I hope to get a test out on the trails at the 12hrs of Darkness, as I won't have Crank Brother pedals before then.

took it for a ride this morning. it goes nice, very smooth. very different from the old fsr mainly due to the extra travel. i felt very confident on this, i did a couple of 2-3ft drop's on it and it felt easy i wanted to do bigger ones but couldn't find any. and that's saying something as i usually shy away from any drop's over a foot. the handling is very stable. over all a very easy bike to ride.
it weigh's just over 14kg's according to the spec's but it felt alot lighter than my old fsr xc.
