basically guys, i'm a downhiller looking to come across to 4x as an additional discipline.

now, i like my downhill bikes slack, currently i'm going a 64.5* had angle.

i've found a nice norco 4by frame (2005 model) that i'd like to build up as my 4x dually, however i've got one problem, it's a 70* head angle.

is this a really common angle as far as these types of bikes go ?

i've seen some hardtails with 68.5-69* angles, and with a dually i know it's gunna have a little sag to even things out but, it seems as though it'd be awfully unstable to me...

but yeah, if this is the norm then i can just make myself get used to it but i'd prefer a slack version.

is this common type, do you guys recommend buying the frame, etc ?

i can't stand steep head angles usually but yeah, if everybody can help me out then that'd be great:D

Yeah, it's normal. Just have a look through the major 4x bikes like the Yeti 4x and the Intense Tazer as examples.

that 4by when built up actually rides reeeeeally nice feels realy stable and corners nice... well at a skate park anyway:p
but it is a small frame i think and for me it was a little tight, all in all great frame!
