Perhaps a working bee should also be organised.

I was at the track about a week ago, and some sections were quite badly damaged from the recent rain. The inside line on the last corner is/was unrideable and many other sections were badly rutted.

Who's responcible for track maintainence? SOPA or WSMTB?

Will look at this on Sunday.

SOPA look after track from day to day, WSMTB must return track to same level as track was before event after each event.

The 2005, 2006 and 2007 first round of the national mountain X series have and will be held on this track and it holds the first and second largest number of riders to an Australian mountain X or 4X race record of 204 and 170 riders, WSMTB's other track at Ebenezer has a rock drop, logs and 8.5 metre jump but the general public can only use the track on race days.

Yes the introduction day is open to all riders men and women, boys and girls.

You will register and possibly have a talk about clothing and bike set up. The gates will be set up and you will be introduced to gate starts, (most mountain bike riders need to learn to gate start, riders that came from BMX are very good at gate starts). You will have the track explained why you should practice each line on the track in case you are blocked where the lines are. If time permits you may learn to corner which mountain bike riders can normally do very well and off course the beginnings of the jumps, if there is time.

If we're going to have a crew out there? How about an afternoon working bee? Is there any soil around we can use to plug the holes? What about some water?
