I saw a couple of 06 C'dale Prophets and Rush's the other day in a shop in the city CBD the other day. Was fairly well discounted.

made me think I wonder what other cool bikes are there still floating around that someone could get a good deal on?

I have seen the new demo 7 in flesh. Also the new sx trail 2. the new big hits and the new p series which are great

The thread was asking if there are any 06 bikes on sale. Not the new 07's ;)

I've seen bikes that should be on sale but aren't.

E.G. A Faith 2 thats been in the shop for about 8 months, and still has a Giant sign $3299" on it. Despite the fact they're selling for about $2200 everywhere else around Australia, righto then

Wow that Trance for $2999, thats insane

There is an 06 Reign 1 at Woolys Wheels in sydney for $2999. If i even had enough for a deposit I would pick it up.

edit: Not sure what size, I *think* it is a Medium

there are still specials around. try googling (in aus obviously) a brand & model of bike and see what comes up. i did a giant reign search and came up with these...

there are some specials to be had, just make sure you know the cost of the 07 model as sometimes they are reduced from the 06 model. EG an 06 Giant Bitzaeverything may be $3999 but the 07 model may now be only $3499. The store will discount the 06 model to $3299 and you think thats a huge saving but compared to the 07 model its not so good, plus you may get better features/spec on the 07 model. just my 2c

At Panther Cycles in Penrith, they can hook you up with a Giant Faith 1 for $3000! Which is an unbeatable price!
Also on a quick note, if anyone sees a Giant Faith 2 on special around anywhere (around Sydney), drop me a PM.

thanks guys,
Jarrad

If that's the one at Hardly Cycles, it's gone- a mate of mine got it and it is soooo nice...

Be wary when web shopping this way for Giants as the spec level that goes with each number has changed this year- ie last years Trance 1 was XO, crossmax etc whereas this year a Trance 1 is like last years 2 and the new top of the line is the Trance O or advantage...

I saw a GT Idrive 5 4.0 for $1300 in Goldcross a while back...looked like a decent ride. Also saw a Norco Charger going for under $900 at Croydon Cycle Works. There are some fairly decent deals going around at the moment I must say. Anaconda have an 05 Kona Hoss going for $1100 or there abouts and the 06 version is $1300
