Hey guys , ive been dreaming of getting one of those little bmx's (16 inch I think) and i was wondering if you guys have ridden one and have two questions:
1- Are they easy to dj on?
2- Can you do tricks on them? If so how easy?
Cheers

There sketchy as for dirt jumping on because they feel really unstable in the air if you're going big. but if small you should be ok. they're ok to trick on too

How big are you and how skilled are you?

The ride alright on djs but you dont want to be going to big. They generally work better for street and park riding where u can utilise(sp?) transistions built for skating.

16inchers are very unstable at almost everything, me and alot of my mates have them to learn tricks on.
you will have 2 get rid of the pedal brake before you try and jump one tho as it catches you out as you lean back on jump and the brake locks on on the lip of a DJ.
in the trick end of things they are the easy thing in the world to trick on but in the jumping end you are better off tricking banks and table tops as they are very hard to Dj on.
p.s. dont land side ways as the wheels crumble very easyly

A freind of mine used to ride a 16" Hofman as his main bike. They are really easy to spin and he could do a double that had about a 3m gap. He now just rides a bmx.

happy 16inching :D
well you can do jumping, street etc.on them, because i have a mate that hits huge jumps and rythms like 4-5 or more foot high with huge gaps on one but hes really skilled:rolleyes: but they are a bit of fun until you brake them doing stupid stuff, but yer give it a try but id stick to a 20" bmx or mountain bike for hitting larger jumps.:D

being 5'10 i really dont think it would be worth your time, just do it properly and buy a 20'. but if you want to much around just go to kmart and buy the latest huffy for $70 and trash the living s**t out of it. me and a mate found one so we gostied it off a roof of a local school..what fun we had!

yeah mate i would deffently get a 20" because there not that small or big there the right size to practice tricks on. I and a couple of mate had 16" and we tryed some really crazy stuff like 4-5ft drops and dj'ing:eek: stuff like that, and my mate ended up smash pritty much all the barrings in the rear hub just because the hubs dont last in them. so id say get a 20"

My mates have two of them and they are nuts on them they do some crazy shit on them but pegs suck on them when they turn the pegs hit the ground but they also play a basketball game with them they have like two on each team and go nuts.

will depend on if you are a little kid or a big kid.
If u want one to play with go ahead, but at the end of the day the little toy will keep you busy i guess.
Now if u want to be taken seriously, "leave these little kiddy machines for the little kids".
