Pennant Hills Park Nudist/freaky old man

went for a bit of an xc ride today and encountered this naked guy just jogging in the middle of the bush....

ive heard stories of the bum that lives in there* but anyone else seen this guy or had similar experiences?

There seems to be a group of nude bushwalkers who frequent Northern Sydney National Parks. They walk solo (and nude) but anecdotal evidence suggests there is more than one of them. JJJ or 702 had a talk back on it a while ago, and certainly more than one person rang in claiming to be the nude bushwalker.

Good on 'em I say.

i had a similar experience however a long way from pennant hills. i was out riding the local trails here in mt beauty one afternoon only to encounter a naked old bloke who was probably just as startled as i was. he had his clothes in his hand and thankfully he quickly covered up preventing me from being scarred for life.

Yup, i saw that guy, near kur-ring-gai cahs, it was scary, seeing some weird naked guy in the kiddle of the bush!

I've done a few night nude rides down a coastal highway in Perth. Ahhhh, nothing like the wind in your hairs and the motorists stares.
Nude surfing is pretty good too, have tried that a few times down south at some cranking uncrowded beachies. The barrels were so good it had to be done! Weird rubbing sunburn cream on johnson and friends though.:D

Ive ridden up at Penno Park pretty much every single day these holidays and every weekend of the year. Ive never come across such things but i wouldnt be suprised. I have heard of strange things happening, like a person riding a horse.
Yes there is a bum who lives down there, we call him "dread-locks" he is extremly harmless and nothing to be worried about but he wouldnt go naked!!

I don't have a problem with nudists...

They usually try to do their thing well away from people who don't approve. They're just ordinary people who want to get back closer to nature. And heck... we aren't born with clothes, and for a pretty huge portion of mankind's history, we didn't use or need clothes.

But I do dig what people say... if you're not expecting it, coming upon a naked person suddenly is a bit of a shock. Just remember... the person with no clothes is usually getting the worst of the situation (embarrassment, panic, etc...).

Ok he may be a wrinkly old man and perhaps not the most aethetically pleasing sight in the world, but good on him for deciding to break our (society's) conservative moral shackles for a brief jaunt in the bush! :D

It was a while ago now but it wasnt near cherrybrook, it was the fireroads about 1-2km from the tennies/hockey courts in penno park. Although there are some pretty decent trails up cherrybrook way...

Why would you need to walk around the bush naked? I don't get it..........is it some form of rebellion? Is it stating your freedom? Is it to get a tan on your tackle?
I don't see the benefit except for less clothes to wash.............

In one area of my town there is a nudist bloke who sun bakes on the beach (nude of course) and walks across the headlands without any gear on. I and my family have seen him on numerous times go out of his way to talk to young girls on the beach while he is naked. He is well into his forties and he obviously intimidates people and actually scares them. I was wallking my dog early one morning across said headland and he appeared from behind some bushes. I said good morning and kept walking.........no harm done. He must have waited in the car park for half an hour and had a go at me for walking my dog in a nature reserve. Luckily for me I know the rules and I pointed to the sign ten feet away saying "dog exercising permitted on leashes"......... I told him if he ever spoke to me or came near me again I would report him for indecent exposure and tell the cops he is the resident weirdo harrassing young women in broad daylight.
He has since disappeared although it is winter time.

Victoria has a few Nudist beaches where "families" go. And no the kids are fully clothed (u sickos). It's the parents that are nudist. Seeing couples/people nude on the beach is not a problem, as long as it's in a legal spot. People are aware that it's a legal spot, no harm done.

But old guys approaching young girls etc is NOT on.

Anyway, we decided to do some exploring, found a promising trail and stumbled across a dude beating himself off like crazy. There was porn and needles surrounding him.

We scared the absolute shit out of him, but christ, I think it scarred us for life. We turned around quick smart and bailed.

We stopped at the road to catch our breath, and this dude in his car comes roaring out of the bush and back down Mt Keira.

We never went down that track again.
