Almost as good as my hardrock with 888s! Good to see you kept it brakeless and no gears like me have fun riding it:p Also the red sprocket looks nicer than the blue one.

Your bike is already humiliating enough, don't push your luck.:p

In all honesty, it really does look like arse. Smaller forks that the frame is built for and i'd reverse that comment and say you have a f**king sick street bike! But yeah, def not 170mm forks on it.

Am I the only one that feels he's taking the piss..? Really, How the hell could anyone take this guy seriously! I mean think about it, 26 inch wheels, 170mm forks, no brakes on a street specific bike. We all know that its just bloody stupid........ I mean seriously, NO ONE in their right mind, would run 26's on a 170mm street bike, it's just ludicrous.

Like I said before, it's stupid.

A) Snap
B) Geo
C) No brakes for 'hucking in the city'
D) Tripple clamps for 'street riding'?
E) You have wrecked a perfectly good street bike
F) You are trying to turn it in to a hardtail huck bike.

It's only good for posing on, but most of the time people will think you are a wanker.

What. The. Fuck?

If you huck of something in the street (or a city as you mentioned) what is going to slow you down before you get hit by a bus?

Nah I wasn't being sarcastic. I seriously ment, No one runs 170mm forks on a street bike. The roll eye thing was more for a mood setter, just to give it that nepolian dynomite "GOSH!" effect.

but whats the point to this whole excercise?

To herald the almost dead art of townhilling - great fun :) but sadly going the way of the dodo.

I know, its like the old 'is Bender a good rider or not' debate, but back in the early days of this century, townhilling was great fun when you couldn't get to the trails and felt like a ride (usually in the early hours of the evening). There'd be a few people on trials bikes, but then there'd also be a few on long travel beasts (Norco Team DH, Iron Hosre G Spot and SGS-DH, also a couple of freeride hardtails as they were known back then), and while the trials monkeys (sorry Lilley) were doing their thing, we'd go and find a nice big set of stairs or something to muck around on... *sigh* good times...

I know I'm going to get blasted for this post, but hey, that's what we rode back then...

Anyhoo, who cares what the bike looks like as long as you can have fun on it?

Ska-quatch
18-01-2007, 09:14 PM
Bahaha, Such a funny read, nice work to the tool with the photoshop skills.
Gotta be said though, townhilling's fun. I've taken the bighit into the city and made a tool of myself before now. Now, brakeless downhill - that would be intreasting... *insert thoughtful expression here*

blake:(

Ummm you would clearly be the one giving mountain bikers a bad name! You throw up when you see a kmart bike? Maybe that person cannot afford a good bike or is not really a hardcore rider but you mock them anyway and say they are shit? That the attitude we want mountain bikers to have:rolleyes:

And why would this bike never ever see dirt? It is more than just a street bike and it IS intended for dirt and the guy who owns it does take it to more places than just 'street' so you don't really have a clue what you are talking about there.

AND IF YOU DIDNT ALREADY REALISE IT WAS A JOKE, I know both riders and both bikes so I new it was a joke, but they cleary explained SEVERAL times to people who didnt know. People still posting up ' yous are idiots cos u put tripplez on dat bike' should really have a read of the actual thread before they post in the first place.

only-on-mondays
22-03-2007, 04:27 PM
hahaha this is funny as hell....
obviously its a joke as it has been explained a few times and still people are going on about how its dumb and gay.

If that was your proper bike i think its a good idea. It means you can backflip down stairs.
