Nice ride Isaac, well done. Those first 4 Elite guys really smoked the course, big gap to the rest of the pack.

That track is brutal on bikes and body, I'm sore all over today. I believe only one guy was taken away via Ambo on the weekend, pretty good effort all round I think, a mention must go too Intense Dave who made a mess of his finger on Sat and I mean a mess, spent 3 hours in a Melb hosp on sat night getting it put back in place and stitched up, then fronted up on sunday to get a podium in Masters. Yeh Dave.............

i think the top 7 in elite are pretty much the only guys not to crash! i crashed twice and gave up...... then proceeded to watch everyone else come down with pretty much the same story.

hats off to jarah and sam though.... scorchin times

For sure, sam and jarah absolutaly killed it, good to see sam back on the pace also!

What did the elite guys that had to repeat their final runs because of the timing think think?

I was also pretty pissed off with my qualifier as my number plate was raidio'd in by a marshall down the track that i had a flat tire and was walking down the track NOT FINISHING when i ACTUALLY had a pinning fast run passing one guy and nearly catching the next... And when i saw the qualifing times i had a DNF

Turns out that the marshall that radio'd the plates number through to the officials of the actual guy with the flat tire read the plate wrong and the timing officials thought i was the guy with the flat tire when i came screaming over the line so they didnt take my time becuase they though i 'wasnt finishing'...

Wasnt happy with that damn marshall who cant read at all!!

Managed to get into the final though with heaps of persuaving (3/4 of an hour nearly!).. With no qualifing time and under 5min to get my bike set up and get ready to go on the start gate for my final run, i was pissed off and had 2 major off's, with one losing my shoe in the crash and having to run, pick it up, put it on then get my bike again, losing alot of time!

Apart from all this cofuffle, the weekend was good, but i left a very angry person with my timed runs.....

Loved the track though, and was an awesome atmosphere, certainly going back, but hopefully next time they have more fuel and marshalls that can read number plates..

Heppla , thanks for putting the jumps in at the fire trail dip.:) Freaking awesome addition to the track. The switchbacks were great fun too , challenging to hit them fast , but fun at any speed. Off the ski jump then a really fun and fast finish to the track. Top job.:)

I was one of the elites that needed to do a re-run due to the generator runing out of fuel and wiping the times! It was hard to find the energy and motavation to go again but once i got going i was back in race mode. I don't think it would have changed the results to much but it's hard to tell. As for the DNF mistakes i believe they have been fixed and one of the riders who accidently got a DNF ended up in 4th! The full results should be up soon.
