Hey guys this is my bike . Its a giant stp2 2007 . Got it about 4 weeks ago now . First mtb so yea, it wil do for now i guess. Ive done a few uprades pedals are Snafu convave, primo logo grips,Dmr single speed kit, and a shadow seat , later on im looking at geting new stem ,cable, leaver, and bars , then forks , but for now its fine . Does the job as really im a begginer rider well i say so to mtb anyway . Hope you like it guys i no stp's arnt the best but i think its ok for now.

Thats a nice STP Clean looking except is that your gear shifter still on the bars :confused:

yeaaa i no looks crap with the gear shifter on there. Ive orderd a new leaver will update pics when i get it on .Thanks for comment guys

hey, for the short term if u undo some of the bolts on the shifter it comes off the leaver, it is tedious, but looks much better if it works:) hope this helps

Its all one unit though. Its a v-brake leaver. Im gona start a poll on what leaver i should get .

lol. whats all this negative hype about the STP2 - NOT STOCK SO DONT RUN? wtf - dude be proud of your ride. I just bought one, and guess what ITS TOTALLY STOCK, including the 2 gears up front lol. I love it and I know I couldnt push anything else to its limits on the street or on a DJ circuit.

I dont get this perpetual need to change and upgrade parts. A stem is a stem...oohh wait, its got another brand name on it, cranks, well yeah, Ive broken 3 piece cranks before, bars....fark me, its a set of handle bars....I love this one LEVERS!!! LOOOOOOOOOL the stock levers are plush as.

Be proud of your ride homie, ive got one, and I love it.

im proud of it :) love it atucally. Leaver is kinda crap since i dont have anygears , it has the shifter on it , all one unit .but yea i love it :)

yeah the stp2 is a good bike, i have one myself, exactly same, and iv chnaged it to single speed aswell, one thing though, do you find that the crank bolts come lose alot, iv found myself always taking an alen key set because the bolts ect come loose when im riding

specially the crank comes loose and i meen very loose when i do simple bunny hops when im street riding,

Grips, pedals, single speed, seat. Thats enough to warrant a non-stock bike. Great choice on your first bike but mate but the 07 paintjobs never tickled my fancy.

its a beautiful bike. i dont get the whole stp thing either but ride it with pride. as for levers i highly recomend avid fr-5. they are cheap as, about $20 and will last for yonks. they loook great aswell. i love the dmr kit. looks amazing. as for the colour scheme... well everyone has already mentioned that but yea. lovely bike

nice bike dude, alot better then my first mtb. An old All Mtn Merida.
My friend has a 07 stp2 aswell and it rides nice except the forks top out when you just jump a gutter. Do you have this problem?

ive got an stp2 07 & its sweet, its runnin' a 24/11 gearing with a spacer-kitted back hub & odessey gedda 2 grips.
about da lever, im runnin an odessey monolever medium length & its pretty sweet.
