I rode up to my local track today where I was building my north shore shit, only to find that some little kids had taken all my wood, and a beautifully crafted ramp made by LEX to make a bullshit construction job drop.

It was so poorly made it wobbled around as you rode it, and then to make it worse, they hacked all the wood up with the hammers and nails, splitting it in half, and generally fucking it up, so we had to take the time to pull all our wood out, rip out the fucking nails and then move it back to where it should have been.

The problem with trying to do something for your local track and make more fun stuff is, little dickheads like to pull it down because they have their own crap ideas that arent even challenging.

We each need our own section of bush surrounded by electric fences and kangaroos sporting rifles to stop these kids from wrecking everything, so a word of warning to those stealing my wood and pulling apart my tracks, so it again and I will smack you upside the head with one of my many many shovels I have hidden up there.

I would but judging by the work they did on their crap drop they cant hammer nails into wood without it buckling.

It happened on my home track / right next to 2stepins DH track and our dirt jumps. Not gonna post the location though, otherwise more people will come and rip it all up.

Problem is I want a track thats probably 20 - 30cm wide MAX and they all bitch that it is too small and try and make shit half a meter wide, there is no challenge in that, and they dont like anything more than a foot off the ground.

There are 2 younger riders that cant ride much, but they always help out with the building and give everything ago, but people that try and go for easy solutions piss me off, there isnt any challenge and you will be bored of it in no time.

Its not really that simple, its visible because its below a new housing complex on the edge of bush, and a lot of dog walkers go through there (who also like to leave massive dog shits on the jumps), so it is somewhat easy to find. Its next to a fire trail.

pangi traps are the way to go, set of spikes in the jump to slash tyres, or just rig up a switch so when they hit the ramps a large 1 tonne mallete crushes their skulls.

like naz said pangi traps aint going to stop them from nocking down your lips, i just hope this rain will pack em down so hard they wont be able to be destroyed as easy, or after months of destroying my hard work (its the only good spot for miles, and its about 30 seconds from my house!). should just put spring loaded panji traps for when they try and nock down the jump though so they fall in it then. btw i just dig holes behind the jumps to stop them from rolling them.

do bb7's cost 300 dollars.getting back to the topic, i've put thorns on top of all the lips of my dirt jumps so little shits dont ride over them. I also tried to make a pangi trap but i covered the top to heavily and it doesnt cave in. Also in my situation with my local jumps its not only the little shits who tare em down its there parents,they claim they want a bump so there children can ride over them. They just dont respect that we takes days to make jumps and they just go and rip them apart so there kids can ride over a bump. Also a few months ago naz made this drop right next to the jumps enclose by a huge log u have to jump over and yesterday i saw the council dumping leaves and branches in the enclosed area and we wonder why the drop is over grown because the friggin council dumps there crap there. The worst thing is the council approves of the jumps being there, i dont get it!

I have been up there all day securing some ramps and shit, the start of my shore is starting to look awesome, a nice steep fast roll in, following by a small tree launch which gives you enough speed to progress to the real shore bits that are gonna weave around some trees with a few levels and paths.

So far its sweet.
