Bloody kids with full sussers bikes....blah blah...learn how to blah blah shouyld be on a shitheap like I was at that age blah blah....
haha nah, kidding, very nice, I would have loved it if my folks had the cash to get me a nice rig like that when I was 13, then again, there were no nice rigs like that when I was 13, so I had an avanti barracuda SL....

I second that...
same story with me, when i was 13, i had an apollo kosciosko (spelling?)
and the nicest rig you could buy was still rigid ($4000 marin or c'dale).
seriously that looks like a very nice ride, and should be heaps of fun. The avanti should own the hills, well going down anyway :)
hey im 14 and buy my own bikes and i cant work i have a cannondale xc framed freeride bike with v brakes though. im gonna get a one25 when ive got 250 bucks ive currently got ummm 150 need shinnies 115 5 bucks a week you do the maths! damn i wish my parents bought bikes they dont believe in freeride bikes they think a giant xc bike or something is fine

when you 13/14 becoming a really talanted rider with skill your not going to be riding a 400 dollar bike your going to break, your going to need a bike that is a bit better as gromet is a really good rider, he hucks 13 foot i think hes going to need a bike over 400 or its a waste, when he gets his new bike it will be insane i tell you insane!
big_pete
09-04-2004, 06:47 PM
Oh did i mention he would be insane on his new bike :)
Jordy
09-04-2004, 06:49 PM
There is this kid I race against on a Gary Fisher XC bike with strong wheels and some good forks..... he flies ! I've never beaten him..... his bike is like from 1999 or something, its not the bike its the rider
Agent Orange
09-04-2004, 07:02 PM
yeh yeh i definately think he should get a good bike.....
olsson
10-04-2004, 09:16 AM
its not the bike its the rider
Amen to that
its not the bike its the rider
Amen to that
whats your excuse then olsson
did i say that 2 fast for you i meant to say the....or did i yeah definetly the rider but a decent bike really helps especially in jumps
domtb
13-04-2004, 08:26 PM
it is the rider not the bike i have soem crap mongoose hardtail a litlle souped good bars and disc and a good rim or two. and im ok i can jump average and do tricks my firned is crap and he got a 3000 dollar bike and still sucks and i dont complain i jsut ride cos i love riding so get over u being bad cos of your bike and practice more and have fun.
gromet i saw you on the downhill u ripped it up man nice work.

some kids at my school get a new bike if they see some cool footage
on cactus garden. they are so spoiled, the wankers! i worked for three years to get my rig and i still cop shit at trails because people think my mummy bought it for me just because i cant do 'that' jump! TOSSERS!
