I searched for torpedo7 threads but the vast majority, including the latest regarding overinflation of RRPs, have been locked. Hence I wasn't going to post this but it's good for a laugh so I thought what the heck. This today in the web specials newsletter they send around every so often.

Get in quick or start hoarding patch kits - rubber supplies in central america are on the decline and tube prices have gone through the roof!

despite the exaduration the 9 dollars for a DH tube is still worth it considering you would pay between 10 and 30 in a shop

just about all online marketing does this exaduration of the RRP, they can and they will keep on doing it, do your research before you buy!

Der....the recommended retail that they suggest on Torpedo 7 is for two tubes ($31 a tube). They aren't saying it is $62 for one tube, they are stating it is $62 for two tubes.......
Let me just say I have already ordered and had 8 tubes sent to me at that price, bloody bargain.

I would imagine that $62 is intended to be the RRP of 2 tubes as you get 2 in the deal. Probably still inflated but not as grossly as it may seem.

Well, I have gone through a good patch where I haven't pooped (or popped in this case!) a DH tube for over a year. The last set of tubes I bought (Maxxis 2.5 DH tubes) cost me $50 at a discounted rate...........stitched up in that case!
It doesn't change the fact that Torpedo 7's two for one deal is bloody good!

Bloody hell - I recently went through a hot patch of doing 5 in 5 runs...hey 9.75 inches of rear travel isn't enough when the track is covered in 11 inch rocks :o (my excuse anyway). True about the deal - is bloody cheap.
