OKay, for the past month or so a question has been swimming around in my head so, i thought it was about time i did something about it.

Okay, on your pointer finger, (on any hand) you have, the fingernail, then a knuckle, then a bone, then a knuckle then another bone then a knuckle.
On the first bone bit :p (no, i dont do biology) after the fingernail, do you have haiir?

The thing is, i dont, there is no hair, not even little piddly blonde ones, the same applies for people who i have asked from my school.

Interesting, upon examination of my hand after 4 glasses of pinot noir, it appears all of my fingers have miniture hairs in said region, except for my index finger. You observation is most accute, I will be curious to read the results of your final conclusion.

I did have hair on that part of my fingers, but after taking up boxing I only have hair on the next section up.

on further inspection i dont hhave any hair until where my racing glove line is...... i think the gloves have slowly rubbed them all out:D

Hmm, Don't forget everyone, i am only talking about 'Pointer' finger (one next to your thumb:rolleyes: ), and ONLY the part of your pointer finger which has been (ill say circled) in the picture.

Hmmmmm yours is fairly off topic I guess:p On inspection, NO I have absolutely no hair on that part and the skin appears to have horizontal lines instead of the little dots on the lower part which must be very small hair.

I'v got some hairs in said region. If you can call them hairs. They really don't deserve the title. Tiny little white things. But the hair on the rest of my hand is comming along nicely. The other day I thought I found a pube, but it was just some fluff from my boxxers.

Had another inspection and yes I do have hairs on that part of my fingers, except my pointing/index? fingers. I assume those who do have hair in this region have a mutant gene or something along those lines.

Both my index fingers are hairless there but the rest of my fingers (except my right pinkie:p) have hair in that spot. I too am afflicted with hair on the toes.

all of you talkin bout the hair on your fingers is startin to freak me out.

i say that its becuase of your genetics. certain genetic types are what sepperate the human race.

for example, ever noticed how some people have a pointed hair fringe line on thier forid, and others just have a straight hair line.
and that some people have an attached earlobe and others dont.
and that some peoples middle toe is bigger than thier big toe.

its called evolution, some people just wernt good enough to grow hair on thier fingers/palms/Ba...;) .
