another business question....Management Theories

In my business report I need to write about management theories, and have know clue where to start?

So can anyone shed light on what these are?

Firstly what textbook do you have for BS. I have the Heinemann Business Studies HSC Course textbook. It outlines all the management theories. Some mangaement theories are:

*The Classical - Scientific theory
*the Behavioural X and Y theories
*Systems management theory
*Contingency management theory

These are just the main management theories. hope it gives you a starting point :)
