I may have totally screwed idea's. I'm 13 so just hear it out. Almost all of the new testament can be turned into a book simply about Jesus' life, just take all the "Magic/whatever" out of it. For example, from the beginning of the new testament. Mary (Jesus' mother) was supposedly ..wahts the word? fertilized will do for now. Fertilized by god, Joseph (Jesus' "foster" dad) was told this in a dream. Mary could simply have cheated on Joseph, his original reaction in the bible supports this. As for the dream, A bit of icing on the cake shall we say?
And possibly the most famous part of the bible, Jesus rising from the dead. Could have been gravedug. And the disciples seeing him risen? Pretty dodgy hallucination mushrooms. I've got some more but I need to get off the computer soon. I have been a christian heavily for 11 of these 13 years, in the last 2 I have begun to see some loop-holes and now I just disagree completely after reading richard dawkins and several other sources, so I'm not makin this up completely. Flame away or comment, your choice.

Not flaming, but what is the question/point. Oh, and Jesus' conception was described like this in our Good News Bibles. (YOU try and keep a straight face in Christian Studies next time, it's not easy.)
"Do not be a fraid to take Mary Home as your wife Jospeh, for her son is concieved of God, when he came upon her"

"he better be the son of God, all the guys are laughing at me out there! i tell you hun he better be the son of god.... he better be the ONLY son of god"

Dude, if religions working for you, that's great.
If it's not, then maybe you should try an alternative point of view.
Either way, as long as you don't shove it down other people's throats, it's all good!

Just pointing out views, and just wondering if anyone else had noticed anything of the sort.
With all due respect Fatass, I think it might be wise to concentrate on logic/evidence for points you want to make publicly, rather than speculating that people were on drugs or something. If this thread takes a turn for the worse it will be locked... we already have enough (decent) religious discussion going on.

And with Techo's point, I reckon we should just leave it there. There is already one religious thread running and this one doesn't really offer anything different.
No problem with posting it though, just keep it in the Jesus camp one if you wouldn't mind :)
Sorry S., made the decision while you were posting....one's enough IMO.
