I have a cheap 20in tt bmx, and I want new bars. The problem is, with my current short toptube manualling etc. is easy enough as it is. I want wide bars, as I prefer it, but most of the wide bars avaliable are high rise.

I am wondering if having 8"ish rise bars on the 20" toptube will make manualling too easy?

If it will do you know any low rise but wide (27-28") bars?

any help is much appreciated,
sam.

i dont see why, manualing is in your legs, thats what keeps you up. i dont think you should find 8" will make you flip onto your ass every shot

Yeah man If you have decent manualing skills shouldn't be any different.
Its all body and balance nothing to do with ur bike.
And get Odyssey Civilian bars Life time warranty

it should be fine as long as you run your stem down as low as you can. if your bars are to high for hight ie. your short, you might find as soon as you pull on the bars it'll want to filp. its not changing the balance point on the bike more you balance point when riding the bike. one thing you might find not so great with wide bars short frame is the room that your not going to have when bar spinning,x ups, turndowns etc.
