Just got my hands on this sucker "The Day the Earth Shook: The Absolute Power". It kicks so much ass its not funny. I'd gone off Manowar for a little while but this has rekindled my love affair with them.

It has everything: Orchestras, Pyrotechnics, Harley's and balls to the wall metal. One of the most dedicated crowds I've seen as well.

They truly are the Kings of Metal

Didn't want a Manowar thread to go without a post. :p Can never really get into these guys, I don't know if it's the fur underwear or the 80's fantasy vocals, prob the later.....on second thought, theres nothing wrong with fur g-bangers.

demaio is a beast in every sense of the word. I think the best thing about manowar is the fact that they claimed a blackout overing a quarter of the USA or something was their responsibilty. according to demaio their guitarist struck a "totally bitching powerchord" and lights went out accross the nation.
