Brett Richardson makes them. he is the teacher of the bicycle mechanic cource at TAFE.

He used to own berreto bicyles at chermside (now knowen as action bikes).

Him & Darrel mccouloch used to build road & track frames at the shop.

Darrel left & now makes his own frames (lewyllen) which are very VERY nicely made & he is also a shit hot mechanic.

aanyway... to answer your question.

They are good frames. depending on what tubing is used, he makes them out of just plain steel But he also makes them out of reynolds & similar tubing.

they looks realy nice if your into old shool looking bikes with a simple looking frame.. But they wont be as light as full carbon production frame.
I just like them because of the nice narrow frame tubes & i really really like cromolly ( depending what tipe of cr-mo)...
I would much prefer a ellewllyn frame. over any other frame just because they are so well made & finished.

.. so yeah.. they are a decent frame not just pieces of junk, But they arent advanced or as light as a factory made alloy or carbon frame..

Like anyone would throw those kinds of things into the bin anyway...
I reckon it looks like a pretty sweet frame btw, nice find dude!

I was just giving him what information i knew... & i stated a fact that they arent as advanced as a new carbon/alloy frame..... i never said people would throw out a carbon frame.

They are a good frame.. I have ridden a couple of beretto bikes before.

Throw a new groupset on & you will have a nice setup that stands out, without having to spend a heap of money.

I forgot to mention, brett also taught me how to Tig weld & braze.
