When you are building/ buying a bike, what are the parts you MUST have on the bike. Because if you don't have it, it doesn't feel right.

1. Easton bars

2. Atom Labs Air Corp pedals

3. rapid rise derailleurs

4. ODi Lock-On grips

4. ODi Lock-On grips

DEFINITELY its probably the only thing that is a MUST have for me. Maybe an SDG Bel Air.

Oh and an Avid Rollamajig - it makes shifting SOOOO much better.

Well I usually build my bike around the Cat Eye TL-LD1000 rear safety light. I love the 10 hours run time and the huge power of it. Definitely my highest priority, especially on a DH bike.

On a more serious note TALAS 32 RLC's for an XC machine, those are awesome forks.

Crank Bros pedals of some kind, cause I only got one pair of shoes and lots of bikes.

If I could afford it I'd have Oury lockons on all of them (except for the roadie).

Zip-ties and propper cable routings. Tubes, lizard skins, or tape on the chain stays.

And, the generic 661 sticker of some kind.

Odi lock ons - Ruffians or Ourys
Minion DHF's (on the DH bike)
DMR pedals
Sram rear derailleur. I couldn't ever go back to Shimanos bashing into the chainstay and that stupid big loop of cable.
