Gday all,
I'm eyeing off some white Syncros DPS 32s for my '06 Shore 3. The Shore's frame is a whiteish silver, and i'm wondering if the white rims would go or would it look sick (as in vomit etc.). Anyone had the experience? If not, 'spose i'll get black.
Cheers

hey mate go to the local bike shop and ask if anyone there has a white wheel then if they are nice they might let you take it of and put it on your bike to see what it looks like

A picture of the bike might help.

Agree'd..
you could always amateur photoshop a picture of your own bike to make the wheels white and see what it looks like for starters. It's just a rough estimate

Correct! They are polished silver rims.
I have seen an 06 Shore with white rims, cant recall brand FWIW, but looked very nice IMO.
At the end of the day, do it if YOU like it. It's all about being individual, so even better if everyone else here hates it! Cheers

thanks everyone for your input, by the way that faith there looks freaking awesome!!! and the other norco (05 atomik is it?) looks pimped with white rims (first page)!! Would there be any way to change the colour of my frame and keep the original decals etc. because i love the frame but the silver is iffy, sorta in the middle of colours, doesnt go with straight white which is annoying. a red frame like the 07 shore 3 would be great, white would look sick with that but silver? im not sure...

In all honesty, I think the white will clash. If your going to have White rims, have a dark-ish sort of frame as above. Red rims could work but I reckon stick with black for now.

Powdercoat it Black (get it done by the pros) and then get your wheels. Sticker kits are a fairly inexpensive item these days as well.
(Ok Plow King..the first pic was awesome but now I think your just SHOWING off your sweet ride...hahah!)

okay guys, ive deided that i wont respray the frame, not really worth it. Ive decided and as some have suggested that white will clash with the silver. So i thought that ill get or respray some syncros' red or yellow. Heres with black, white, yellow & red rims! (could i get some new rims resprayed then get the original decals or spray them on or something?)
thanks heaps guys!

man the white still looks good, but the yellow is even better. you can get ur new rims sprayed in what eva colour you want, but you mite need new decals or even better get the people who are painting ur rims to spray the decals on. or you can get new sticker decals made up. so yeah its not that hard just a bit of planing and thought and you will be ok.;)

Tallman the yellow ones look sweet as but I reckon you should get some other yellow parts to go with it. Then it would be pimp!
