bike of the month Q&A

Hey Guys,
I am not really sure where to put this, But here seems good enough for me!



Just a few questions about the Farkin Bike of the Month,If some of you could answer it would be greatly appreciated and will help with the future BOTM


1) Are you happy with the way it was run last month(March)?
2) Do you understand how BOTM was ran and the rules that were used?
3)How could BOTM be improved next time?
4) Anything else you like to add?

1) Seemed like a pretty good system to me, the poll cut out alot of the crap, and let you get straight to it without reading through all the posts and having all these people posting over and over.
2) Yerp.
3) Not sure, i'm not much of an ideas man.

I don't like how it's the first 5 nominations get in.
Maybe the top 5 most nominated bikes get placed in the poll at the end?

the rules clearly say that the first ten bikes for each catergory will be entered..
there were only five for each catergory nominated. and its up to the members of farkin to nominate the bikes.if that doesnt happen there is nothing i can do abouit it.....

I think its all running good, its definatly a good idea. I think it would be better if there was a BOTM sub-forum in post your ride.

Second that. Would be great to have a sub forum instead of having threads all through post your ride, and then losing last months one a couple days later.

post your ride should be just that..... we don't need a pinkbike-esque vote for whoever has the most money to spend on bikes every month.

as for new forums - we have too many all ready. lets leave it be.

But seeing as many people will want there bike to be BOTM, it will promote heavy spending on bling parts and in turn increase the overall revenue taken in the bike the Aussie Bike Industry!

Far fetched? Probably, but i love seeing nice new bikes each month!

The format is good, the old KISS applies here.
