How much is it to ride thredbo and do i have to go on sum newbie orientation thing witha guide to see if i can ride or not? does that cost alot also?

99 bucks for initiation and chairlift and from then on every day is an extra 66 bucks for track contribution (for maintanence) and for chairlift useage

yamum884 is right on it. If you have your own bike, armour and full face helmet - the day will cost $99 (for morning initiation, and chairlift access for the rest of the day).
Single day tickets (post-initiation) are $66 each, or alternatively, purchase multi-day tickets if you're staying for a while - eg. 3day ticket = $154. Makes sense.
