here s a compilation of photo's taken by Hoshi Yoshida while on a trip to Australia with Rouler Imports.
We first went to brisbane and then jumped around sydney trails...

I think the flash finishes the shot because it shows it's a photo shoot. Makes the rider look like he can do it all day for the camera. Shows both the rider and the man behind the camera have skill....

nah i think you are right. it really captures the deepest emotions and the spiritual link between rider and photographer. its really symbolic of the bond between joscha and hoshi - a bright and explosive relationship. the inclusion of the flash in the picture also really shows the professional nature of the photo shoot, but yet adds to it a sense of being laid back and easy going.
