Hayes have taken the ball..........;) That is about all I could find on a quick search. Any industry folk care to shed some light on the deal as it stands now? (If there is anymore to add that is.......)
high end forks and shocks only, no more OEM only model forks. Manufacturing to be moved back to the US. No forks til 08 models are out from what i could understand. From what I have heard there was a lot of resistance within Manitou to the Hayes buy out, but the bank gave them no choice in the matter!
Here's some picks from the Taipei Show at the end of march.

Woot, they look the goods, except I'm not liking the shonky looking raw-finished crowns..

Interesting... I find that unlikely as Answer/manitou have been for sale for almost 4 years that I know of.
1st we heard of the Hayes interest was almost 3 years ago... then it faded out... then came back again, resulting in the recent purchase.

Those gold labels would only work if they were fitted with a chrome spinner, and the frame was diamond encrusted. :p
Get rid of the gold glitter writing on the side aswell!
Travises look the goods, and yeah i don't like thos shonky crowns either
Interesting to see the prices, and the rear shocks.

They dont look too bad but the red tape looks a little outta place...not a fan.

Hey Elvis,
Just reporting what i heard, being bought out at a fire sale is enough to make anyone cranky though!!!
