i would guess its a Honda!
on the engine bay pic look at the cam cover (rocker box) i am sure i can see a honda logo and then V-TEC

I've got a feeling incredibly high speed was involved, if you look it's cleaned up the poles that support the rail. Those rails, when hit dead square, don't really like to buckle... as you can see.

I think that could have been the driver's seat - bit hard to tell, but it looks like they were driving on the right hand side of the road, and the driver has copped the full impact of the fence.

edit- it is definately a civic, and it went through the drivers seat(you can tell by the dash board) and the rail is covered in blood.

Incorrect. It indeed is a Honda but you see in the first picture the policeman is much too tall for it to be a CRV. And btw looks like a 2003 Honda Civic with the front headlights to me. Plus those subwoofers.. easy give-away that its most probably a civic..not a CRV.

my guess it's a Civic Wagon.

did any body hear about thoses two guys on the moto bike in indonesia, i thnk it was there. but ne way. there were two guys on a moto ridin prety fast, when the driver hit a pole poking out the back of a truck on the sode of the road. the pole went through the first guy and through the second on the back. the two were stuck together like a fly on poo till they got to hospital and the cut the pole and got them apart

btw is that a pole or one of those guard rails like on freeways(thats what it looks like and those thigs bend from the side goin longways they hurt cos of the S shape angle adds strengh and cushionin from the side
