Hello, Me and my mate today are going to gap creek and we are wondering how to get there? could someone please give instructions on how to get there.

Yeah im interested too, can you only access it from the gap creek reserve place?
Or is there anaother way

theres two ways, but theyre hard to explain.

the first is to go right up the end of Payne road (the very end - through the roundabout) until you reach the gate and grid entrance onto the fireroad (the dam behind you). just follow the fireroad for a fair way (you'll go up a big hill, down a bit, up again, down again, and then up once more) until you reach the top of a hill where you have another fence/gate on your left, and the fireroad continues down the road to your right. go into the bit that the gate is blocking off (you can go round the gate) and then the track starts right up on top of the hill, going down towards the right (along the side of the fire trail). make sure you take the tight left hander to go onto the track proper (probably 20-30 metres from the trail head) rather than continuing down next to the fire trail.
