We ride every Wednesday in the Tewantin State Forest. It is mainly a girls ride, but guys are welcome. We meet at 8am in the Wooroi Day Use Carpark on the Noosa Cooroy Rd. We ride for a couple of hours then go for coffee. The ride is very easy and suitable for all skill levels and fitness. We probably spend more time sorting out each others problems and fixing the woes of the world, but we have fun out there. All welcome.

Hello,
My wife and myself have started riding recently. We are keen to try new trails, so count us in at some point in time.

Hi, I use to live in Noosa a few years ago but moved to Brisbane. In that time I have gotten in to Mountain Bike riding. I visit my family in Cooroy regularly and was wondering where the trails are? Also what are they light? Single track, downhill, etc?
Any information about the trails is appreciated :)

Most of the trails are in the Tewantin State forest. There is a carpark on the Noosa-Cooroy Rd, opposite the Carramar old folks home. All the trails can be accessed from here. It is mainly XC riding. There is a good mix of easy frie trail through to technical single track. The forest is bound my major roads so you can't get too lost. Beckmans Rd, Noosa-Cooroy Rd, Sunrise Rd, and Eumundi Rd. You can ride for several hours without doing the smae trail twice.
There is also the Noosa Trail network that heads out towards Cooroy, Pomona and Kin Kin. It is very easy track, but quite hilly, good fitness but not much skill needed. The council do a brochure with the Trail Network on it. I think it is on their website.
