Finally got my hands on my new XC bike a Norco Faze 1 last night.

Still haven't had a chance to take it off road, but everything seems pretty sweet at the moment.

You should see one in flesh, best looking XC rig with a damn good spec, have to give alot of respect to this bike Norco have produced.

Now sticker her up, move those levers in because of your disgusting habit [:p ] & have one hell of a life with it Lenny;)

He'll need a hell of a lot more than that to keep the opposition at bay!:p

Come on regan, youve ridden with me enough to know I need more than a bike to do that.

Needs XTR pedals to match!

Your not selling any are you???

Also needs warning sticker behind fork cable guide removed... come on, you don’t want any extra weight! :p

Actually, now you mention it, they are still on the rotors as well.......oh the shame.

That seat looks... *shudder* light

That's one damn fine looking machine.
What's your opinion on the 07 XTR brakes?

My first thoughts as I went screaming down the hill at the front of my house......"shit I should have actually given these a chance to bed in"

Now though, the lever action is awesome, the feel is sweet and the power is spot on. I can't fault them at all.

Add to all of that.......they look cool, so I am a happy camper.

As for the seat, according to the writing on the seat......its 135grams. I don't think I will weigh it though to verify if its correct.

What's your opinion on the 07 XTR brakes?

OK, after finally taking the bike for a decent ride offroad, all I can say is that the brakes are awesome.

The whole brake package is just magic.

The XTR shifters are pretty damn sweet as well. I was always a fan of the X0 triggers, but I think now I am sold on the XTR triggers.

Man your bike sucks, now your faster than me:mad:.
I was struggling up some of those climbs today, I've never seen SDog climb so fast.
After my little test ride in the carpark, I'm sold, back to an XC bike for me:).

And painful for long rides. I've got a Selle Italia Ti Flite saddle and whilst I love it, it's only good for race distance.

Definitely a sweet looking bike. Colour is awesome and spec is great. Love the XTR quick releases!!

I've heard mixed reports on the seat. It seems to be a seat that people love or hate.

I guess I will find out the hard way in a few weeks at the next 8hr race, but it seemed pretty good on todays ride.

Definitley seems to feel more comfortable than it looks.

Matty, you coming to the race this weekend....you could take it for a cruise if your hands aren't still too stuffed.

Slowly getting the shock sorted now, but this weekend is its maiden race, real shame the engine is in such bad shape at the moment.

How did you manage to get it for that price? $3500 sounds like a steal!

Right place at the right time........no, my local shop, Drift, was having a pretty decent sale and I snapped it up after they convinced the missus it really was a good idea.

They worked for the sale thats for sure.

Had the bike for a few months now, and it just keeps getting better. Still can't fault anything on it.
