4X Geometry and average spec. Lots of potential.
SRAM-X9 (long cage) on my mate's '06 snapped when he cased at the bmx track. The '07 has decent forks: Drop-Off 4's. 130mm travel is too much though for DJ, street and Park.
I'd rather a '07 Cowan with DJ1's and better bits, all for a little more cash...but thats me, however, I do own a Cowan:) .

well im not quite sure if hes talking about the same bike maybye different year model but i have a 2007 felt straight shot and its a great bike really do enjoy riding it. However about the comment above  it comes stock with sram sx-5, 160mm travel dropp-off forks and i do find it great for 4x although i think i may need to but some smaller forks :( whoch os sad because the stock ones jump so well :D .
well have fun and buy FELT.

Hey my mate picked up an 06 one for cheap a couple of months back. So far it seems a sweet bike, nothings gone wrong and he loves it. Had a bit of a ride on it and i liked the feel of it alot. I'd say get one if the price is right
