i am uplate and watching some late night muci and have come across some song's from genre's i dont usually listen to.

i really like doe boy fresh from 3 6 mafia....and as i was thinking this i was wondering what you guys usually listen to...........and another thought came across that would other sides of mtb'ing listen to certain music.

so when you vote leave a post of wat you chose and what is your riding preference, like i love dirt jumps but my main preference is DH

i find Rage Agianst The Machine really good for downhill and bob marley for freeriding suits me best. sometimes its the other way round depends how i'm feeling.

I'm a total skitz when it comes to music, one week I'll be absolutely in love with one genre and listen to it exclusively then the next I'll be right into something completely different.

I've just switched from being into down-tempo hip-hop to metalcore, however I'm listening to a bunch of old school punk/proto-punk right now so the metalcore phase might be short lived.

i voted rap but only because thats the closest thing to aussie hiphop on the list. i love skiphop for every type of riding, but a bit of disturbed is always a good pump up. it was infact riding thast got me into skiphop. who remembers when amb was giving away copies of redbull freighttrain it had a song called testimonial year by the hoods got the album and been hooked ever since

I have an almost identical story, but I work more in monthly cycles as opposed to weekly. I always come back around to Oz hip hop though.

i chose rap because theres no aussie hip hop and is the closest, i listen to hilltops, muph & plutonic, hunter, mystro, downsyde and a bit of pegz just anything like that, but my favorite song to ride to for DJs: would be
"trade secrets feat the hoods" by mystro it just sounds right :D
and DH would be:best kept secret by downsyde

In response to the question, you missed out chillout. I love Hilltoppers and Bliss n Eso for riding, but a majority of the time while at home i'll listen to Blank + Jones, Chicane, Faithless, Theivery Corporation, Air, Ottmar Leibert and the like. Then a bit of drum n bass too, ie: Pendulum.
