I hope all your Brisbane riders will come out and support this event. The club are holding a national round in November and they really need dollars to get the 4X, DH and cross country tracks in top shape.

We also want to keep the national round in Queensland.

We plan on doing a small video of the DH and 4X track before the nationals and putting it up on farkin.
The track has a bit of everything. The rainforest section is technical and has heaps of fast sections, drops and jumps. Believe me, you will love this track. The track has b lines if your not experienced, so it suits all styles of riding.

Thats great Melissa and thanks for supporting the club. Its a great chance to practice on the track before the Sunshine series and the national round.

Everyone please phone and book your spot for the social day. They really want your feedback on some of the new sections of the track. We really want to make the national Series a huge success.

The 4X track will also be available on the 3rd June. So make sure you ring that number and book in.

i have no connection with the club, but i thought i just mite say this. the last open day that they had at illinbah. it was a totally aworsome day of riding and i would recommend it. but apon talking to a man out there, i believe he had some connection to the club he told me that of the places booked less than half turned up and payed there money and rode. so people, if your going to book a place so another rider cant ride, make sure you get your ass there pay your money and ride on the day. i believe the club did not come out so well after trying to pay the bus rental and truck rental for the day with the money they did get........end rant

Hi All,

Just an update on how the work is going on the 4x, DH & Cross Country tracks.
I just spent the day helping out on the 4x track and the start gate is just about ready to go in.
The course is turning into something fantasic.
A few guys were working on the DH track today and in some sections, we now have an "A", "B" and even a "C" line. This will suit all levels of riding and the big guys will love the A lines, Its a real challenge in some sections.

If anyone has nothing to do on the weekends and would want to come and help out, just call Gus on 0407 753 327 and find out what time work is being done. You can get to test out the track for free at the end of the day.

One more thing: The club is looking for sponsors for the nationals, so if anyway wants to throw some sponsorship our way, I can send you a proposal. SBS will be filming the Nationals and we are looking at getting Foxtel (Fuel TV) to film all the races. Our sponsors will get first class advertising.

Thanks for the great response guys/girls. Hopefully everyone will show up however add your name to the waiting list just incase some riders can't make it. I know my boy Rhys is out for tomorrow because he broke his collarbone again today, so that now leaves a space open for someone...

hey guys the day was wicked.. got 5 runs in before i came off on the A line and called it a day.. but a mate and I got some good helmet cam footage of the track(including my bail ) so i hope to have that up soon.. cant wait too get back there next month too race it..
