Awesome, I've ridden both (like many people here, despite the fact that the Intense hasn't even entered production) and am as such, able to give you a valid opinion on it.

both would work very similar, I jsut reckon teh instense looks better... very nicolai like...

all of these designs i recon would make awesome light DH race rig's it just depend on wether it can take the abuse. To me because of the fact they are marketing them as 8" travel trail bikes with 2 or 3 chainrings makes me thing they will not be as strong as say the M1/M3 or V10.

Nick, get the santa cruz vp- free, they dont come cheap or a v10 they come in cheaper than the vp free.
