It's here!

The whole thing

Linkage

Dropouts

I took it for a fairly timid ride today and it's great. More riding in the morning on an easier trail so I should be able to see how it rides instead of just stalling everywhere.

At least I know that the low standover's good, easier to jump off 8)

hey fuck all yal, i know u may not like rebel sport, but comon, a few of use farkiners work there (in WIM). dont dis it ether. no we dont import them, we just have a deal going with iron horse. we can also get any of them in, ya just have to ask. same as any bike store. so wat if were in rebel, we still r bike mechs and dont dis us cauz of that.

Fuzzy thats fair enough but i was very pissed off, me and another guy have been change that way our shop works, hell, come into hornsby wim and cheak out all the pics on the workshop walls, were gettin better parts in, cranks, derailers, etc. more tools for u guys. even a few better bikes to make it look better, not look like the family cheapo bike shop. so somon, u would what the bike shop you would work at dissed just cauz they dont have what other pplz want.

I got it from Ray Appleby Cycles in Launceston, Tas. They're a dealer. Any shop willing to stock 7 bikes or more can become a dealer as I understand it.

It's a medium, kalem.

Yes, it's the cooles thing I've ever owned! But there's always someone around to keep me in check. A mate who I ride with got a Team on the same day.

And well, there's always Squid to keep EVERYONE in check.

More feedback after tomorow mornings ride!

Rik

That's a hot bike at a cool price, it makes me jealous when I see things like that, knowing I could be riding it already, but instead I'm slowly putting money away to build my my project bike. Argh...
Enjoy it though, it should be an awesome ride!

Oh, and Coollyney, your inability to construct words and sentences isn't doing anything to support your case that your workplace is worthwhile. Let's just leave that discussion to another thread, please.

Wattsy

all u had to do was say im retarted rik. i wasnt the 1 that started it

Rik
25-01-2004, 11:37 PM
That's just using playground logic "he started it, it's not my fault" etc... sure, there was a post about Rebel, yes you want to defend yourself, but far out mate, use your brains before you post, typing a stream of dribble like you did doesn't help your cause.
I don't have to say you're "retarted" (sic) when you're doing such a good job of saying it yourself.
Have you done any english/debating work at school? Do you realise that if you want your point to be given merit you have to make sure it's well written, something which you have not done above.

Anyway, enough of this, back to talking about the bike, if this conversation wants to continute, do it privately or in another thread.

Well, I went for a good ride this morning and it's awsome. I've only ever had hard tails and it's realy strange being able to still pedal through rocky corners instead of pinging off them.
I've decided I like rear suspension a lot. So yeah, I'm realy happy with it :)

Nah, the other two holes are actually for the linkage plates to bolt together, it's a "3 piece linkage" designed by e13... supposedly stiffer.

Rik
28-01-2004, 10:31 PM
Quite a few companies are doing that for '04, having a boltup bridge between plates. Makes sense when plate dimensions are growing bigger...

I think retail for the world cup frame, whcih is the only 1 u can ge unless they strip a bike down is around 3300, im fairly sure.

neko
04-02-2004, 07:55 AM
Yeah, I guess it would be about that much, it would be less with a different shock, maybe a four or a six way shock, the fifth element costs a fair bit by comparison. I think they're something like $1100 or so. The 6way is something like $850.

looks pretty nice. just around the linkages doesnt look that nice though. as far as cosmetics go. but apart from that damn it would rail!!! btw dont start off by riding the easy tracks! just thrash the thing, its what is it made for! but thrashing in a good way.

I thought the crafty was advertised as a one-piece machined shock link?
