probably just some hayes nines as far as i know they seem cheap enough to buy and work really well if you bleed them right
(there the ones that come off the stock stp1)

Hayes or shimano, either will be fine. Havent had any experience with any of the juicys, but im sure they would do the job too.

Juicy 5's are good and powerful.
I myself use Avid BB5's, and they are really strong and grabby, which I like.

Anything shimano.

I have owned juicy 5, hayes 9 and shimano deore. Deore is by far the best, and its so cheap!

Wrong and wrong! XT 4pots suck as a street brake I ran one a while ago, way to much modulation, same with the grimeca, while they may be powerfull, they're wayyy to heavy and modulated to be a street brake; You can get a Saint and have more than enough power and still some good modulation for manuals ect, or if you're just a power freak a Hope mono trials.

I also wouldn't mind trying a setup like XTR caliper with Saint lever or something; Juicys are also quite nice, fairly on and off, but unreliable in passed experience...
