Hey
Is it possible to fit a 135mm by 10 hub to my 150mm by 12 frame?
Cheers

my cannondale judge does it.
theres a floating brake that take up 15mm on the inside so that the spacing evens out.
cant regurlarly do it though
lol the axle thickness would be an issue though

Ok, maybe I should elaborate a bit. Why would you try fit something something that 135mm into a 150mm spacing, and a 10mm axle in a 12mm drop outs. Obviously if its 150x12mm it's a fairly strong frame and most likely used for DH. Fitting a smaller hub into the bike can't be that strong. Also, even if you could find something to fill up the space, how would you go about getting a 10mm axle that size that grows up to 12mm at the ends?

That wasn't really directed at you - sorry if it came across like that. More of a general question to anyone.

Custom axle? Hard to explain but if someone has some 12mm bits of steel and a metal lathe I can use I think I could work something out.
Still wouldn't suggest it though...

you could shim the inside of the axle holes, provided it wasnt threaded - there are 14mm-10mm adapter shims for BMX dropouts, im sure you could do the same in this case. still doesnt make sense why you would want to run a smaller axle and a dished wheel, taking away all advntage of a 150x12 frame/wheel combo...
