hey,
i have about 20 acers to build dj's.
it is going to be built on flat ground.
we have machinery such as a tractor with a scoop and a tip truck (scoop holds about 1m high by 2m wide pile of dirt).

so far our designs have included a roll in large tabletops, doubles, big berms pretty much the usual, any cool idears are greatly appreciated.

we have ALOT OF DIRT so post some ideas.

yeah might want to get rid of the other two threads.

Maybe draw up a map or diagram of what you are planning to do on it and then we shall elaborate and give you more idea's.

Huge roll in to massive speed double, then heaps of alternative lines, hips, wallrides and normal doubles would be mad. Oh yer make a big jump that you can park the tractor in between and footplant on the scoop.

Distance jump basically, as opposed to kicky jumps for tricks.

speed doubles more a less dont have a lip or a very little one and are long.

make a roll in and then just lay down some doubles and some switchbacks and some wallride's, u could even make some like quarters and stuff outta dirt, now that would be sweet!

The Snake Pit from the latest Dirt mag. Think it's in NWD 8 as well. It's got big straight jumps, hips, bowls, quarters, a fuf rail, and a rock for the first kicker. Rad.

I also like it when there's some sort of variation to the jumps. Not just 4 big jumps in a straight line. Think hips, transfers, berms etc. Also having some smaller jumps to build/warm up on is a good idea. Something pump track like.

Make sure you put some pictures up.

i sooooo wish i was u. ur all set. if only i could get my hands on some land and diggers!!
anyway, theres a dj set near my place that has a jump half way through that is essentially a big bowl sitting on the ground. quite a work of art. u can jump onto the downramp, the first half of the bowl, from various jumps, then curve inside the bowl to take off from any part of the lip on the other side of the bowl to hit various downramps on the other side.
hope that made sense to you. id like to post up pics of it, but theyre not my jumps, so i dont think it would be right.
it looks kinda like this: ( ( ) ) if that makes sense to u at all.
would be alot of fun if u could do it.
ive seen dirt wall rides too. so you could build one of them with a gap in it or something on the back of one of the downramps.

Just make a shit load of different lines, so you can do something new every day, and make a pump track to get back to the start.

Do you live in South australia, because if you do my friend and i would gladly help out. Im fairly good and coming up with cool stuff to do, just dont have much to work with.

Also u should have to doubles one goes into a bigger double the other a switch back so you can jump over people .

i think u should put in a insainly large 4-6 pac or just one jump like im talking 2-3 meters high with sumthing like a 20ft gap i mean if u think its insane maybe one day u will just decide to do it if u get pumped enough

ohhh that is so cool. i wish i had lots of land and machinery to build on:( well have heaps of fun with it. the good thing is you can just keep changing things around. and they wont get dozed either:) i reckon you should make a pack with transfers and stuff in it. most the jumps smallish so you can trick them. like that pack in roam. in jordie lunns backyard if you've seen it:)
