I found this little gem lastnight i was so happy its only new so there is only one track and one rider and bike my best time so far is 2:22.52

I actually thought it was a good attempt. obviously the amount of programming required to do that game is outside your comprehension.

personally if EA were to release an MTB game based on NFS Most Wanted, it would be a great success.

drag would equal 4x
sprint would equal DH

would be fun, but unrealistic since MTB is such a small sport.

Yeah you have to practice alot and find where the lines are that you can pin full speed there is a nice part where you can actually jump the S bend at the top.......im guessing that how i get my time

Great game, the rider goes much faster if you turn beginners controls off but its 100x harder to control.

here's a tip for much greater speed... wwhen in qualifying or training press escape then back to start then take the tick off beginner settings... should make you pedal about 80km/hr on flat and on the huge downhill about 130km/h

i never commented on there programing ability i commented on the game play that was my impression of the game and though it was a fair attempt at a dh game i found it boring thats all. And programing is not out of my ability i have a diploma in i.t everyone has an opinion that was mine you don't have to be an ass about it.

Umm when the screen comes up to Start / Settings / etc... go into settings then at the top it has renderer settings, change it

Its a good game but some of the physics is really annoying.

I would also like to see more low speed technical sections instead of flying till you stack it, and berms would be fun too.

Anyone else think this would be elite as a 4x race online against other people?

Same, it has rebboted my comp twice now. I don't get how you change the render thing. When I install I don't get that start/settings screen. Unless you are talking about where you choose to save it and that doesn't have an options button in there.

That one is alright but the other game is better i rekon. ^^^ that 1 is possibly even less realistic than the other one . Good find though. gonna be a goo site to waste time in the future... :p

i cant get below 2:30 and iam trying my hardest.
are there any corners that one can cut by jumping? can you get over the bunted areas or is that a surefire way of crashing?

well i can get sub 2:07, and he is right about the hairpin... There is one section which you can jump but you have to be extremely lucky (it's after the massive downhill, which you get your top speed on... have you turned off beginner's controls? if not on the straights you are onlygetting 70 max. without them on you can get 100+... just keep trying i started getting 3 minutes plus
now i can crash twice and still get sub 2:20

I found this game last week after changing my internet provider to Internode - they had it on their games site!

Great game but I can only get one or two games at a time before my laptop shuts it down - must be the graphics card I guess - I did email the makers about it and got a useful response, I was impressed!

Anyway I'll keep trying - I'm 7000odd ranking at the moment:eek: the tip on turning off beginners controls is a good one thanks!

just got 2:05 which is currently ranked 96 - i know where there are a few more seconds i could squeeze out but will be too time wasting to do perfectly all in the one run. i give up...that is unless someone tells me how you can progress to the actual race, not just qualifying.

when we did it we used roughly 50-60 guys u have to do a bit of a countdown so that u all click at the same time.
10 just doesn't cut it nowadays.

ive worked it out

its your graphics card guys it they have a protection setting on some that shit down if they are going to crash

sort of the same thing with sound systems if you play them to loud they shut off to prevent blowing up

Im running a P4 3.8 with a gforce6800GT, 1gigram.

I havent yet played a game that doesnt run flawlessly on this current system, apart from this game obviously...

i have a new acer 3290. runs.. most games well, but not this one, shut it down immediately and flashes up a BLUE screen! aggghhh so annoying, all my mates playing it and i'm stuck playing shitty elastomania :@

yea issues for me also, everytime it finishes(almost) installing it just instantly restarts the comp and doesnt install at all, a bitter never ending circle

Yeh sure, they could've made mor jumps etc but it would be much harder, and how hard would it be to ride a bike in a game like that down singletrack about a foot wide...
You can't unlock the locked level... I guess this is just the demo.

Do you reckon it would be possible to make a really good game like this? Like one people would pay $30 bucks for? DH just seems like a very tricky thing to make a game out of. On the other hand surfing and car games exist so why not.

This one doesn't have many jumps either except the famous doubles at the end, but you can get to speeds of 150kph+ and there are some nice slippery corners.

Not really but you can jump some of the tighter corners and there is mud so you can slide a bit more freely.

Great track, heaps more flowing than the last one. The physics is still very sketchy but I'm noticing it less on this track.

Finally I played this game :D
After installing it on my other computer(which is too slow to play it), and copying the files to this computer.(still with random restarts rarely)
Anddd wooh is it fun, a tip would be(if you have watched roam) to play the song 'rookie' while playing the game, but you will have to off the music sounds in the options menu.
Haha made me go faster!

Oh and how do you know what rank you are?

I want to play that also :PWorks for me, just have to have the latest Adobe Flash Player thats all.

As far as the other game goes, a little tip for all the new people to it, don't hold forwards when you are going downhill, only pedal on the up hills, if necessary, you will find you will go a lot faster. On the new track I am hitting speeds of 170-180km/h, so you go very very quick.

I'm assuming that all of you spend all day riding DH for real and use this game to relax at night. just like me yeah? it's kinda getting dark here, too late to do any real runs. just cracked my fourth beer, i'd rather stack it on the screen.. he he
