Well this is my third trials frame.. let me just say it feels awesome! Big thanks to Dan at austrialshop (http://www.austrialshop.com) for hooking me up with one of these. It probably looks weird to most of you haha :) I'm still gettin used to it though! Enjoy

Oh.. it is IMPOSSIBLE to sit down and ride.. sitting down is a mission in itself even when the bike is stationary!

I know bugger all about trials bikes but the rear stays look really really short. I assume that's deliberate, what's the benefit of this? Lower Centre of Gravity when you are up on the rear wheel maybe?

Psycodh- I don't know really haha. I ran flat bars for about 2 years now and decided to change to TryAll risers, designed for trials.

cam-o- short stays (15" i think) makes it easier to pop onto the backwheel, the top tube is longer.

live_to_ride- have you talked to Dan at austrialshop.com about it?

Thanks all

wth!!! this is sooooooo nice!i love the RB carbon lever and the RB booster.=))
i have seen a crazy guy in singapore which have insane setups as well.using cresent frame, drilled rims,rb levers, carbon boosters, monty stem, custom ti bar, carbon spacers and ti bolts all round the bike.soo light!he performs so well during his comp in japan.

Tankass.. sounds awesome!

I have a drilled front rim that I'm not going to use yet. My Rhyno Lite is 3 years old (previously used on the rear) and when that goes, in comes drilled Echo/Alex DX32!!!

Tankass- where did u see that? 880 is cheap if its new.

I will have a Brisa B26 frame for sale soon, resprayed and extra welding where I think may be necessary. 4-bolt mounts, 2002 model ridden for 11 months and as you said "real smooth on [ur] landings" :P

Archi- the Alex DX32 is one of the most copied rims in the world.. Halo copy em too methinks. And yes, they are Middleburns, 1 1/2 years old and still stiff as.. I'm good mates wif the dealer here, got the 2nd or 3rd set in the country.

That is all

hi there,i m not sure of wat the original price of the brisa frame cost.but my friend said its a 04 model, not sure though.the shop which i seen it is in singapore. u can visit their webby. its www.tionghin.com . a very popular and reputable bike shop in singapore.its brand new in the glass shelf.they have some tomacs and Titus frames as well.and they are the distributors for halos/gusset/indentiti. shipping a frame that light from singapore to aussie wont be that much though.
cheers

So stock bikes don't need seats? Why don't they just call them 26" mods?

stocktrials
10-02-2004, 09:51 PM
A lot of other stock bikes have seats.. I have always had a seat but thought I would try something different.. it gives you a LOT more room to move around when surging/lunging and leaning. I will try put a seat in it n take a pic.. hehe
