I figure a bit of BMX racing couldn’t hurt for extra fitness in the DH and 4X

Weight is 11.5kg. I'll hopefully get her close to 10kg flat with a few upgrades…

Yep! They retail for $850. I paid $5...

I actually won it at the National BMX Titles in Newcastle last weekend. I only bought 3 tickets...about 5000+ tickets were sold over the weekend I reckon. Not bad I say...:D

If anyone has seen "Joe Kid on a Stingray", you will know the legend behind these frames. Back in the day (mid-80s), these were the absolute pinnacle of BMX bikes. Rumours of Helium filled frames and how they were SO light were rife at every kids local stunts.

i had one of these as a kid.it was camo frame and ano gold rims.sky blue decals set this bike off unreal.i used to race at menai and the old liverpool speedway.man im old.some one stole it two days before the state titles at newcastle.i borrowed a mates mongoose,it had tuff's and cobra grips.i got second and was going to nationals in south aussie but broke my wrist playing rugby....just was not ment to race i think.wonderful memories.
