View Full Version : Storm series?
Okay
I didn't want to put RST (yes RST) in the title because i thought it might deter people from checking, but... http://www.rst.com.tw/product/pd2007/storm.htm
I was just browsing the site when i came across the 'Storm'. It looks like a 66/36/Lyric-type Freeride fork - does anyone know anything about them?
Im thinking in terms of reviews, people who have ridden them, stories, etc.
Cheers
(don't be afraid to go all out in saying they're crap as well if thats what you think ;) )

The Storms look pritty desent. Dont look like they would have any problems.
I had 100mm RST's on my Hardrock and the seal's blew out.
But the Storms seem to be good.
Like to here if anyone has a pair and could give some info on how they ride.

Thats the first RST fork ive seen with a 20mm thru-axel,looks pretty decent, but for 150-170mm of travel,i would still rather go something like a 66
I'm asking because of course i would like to go with something more reliable but i think these may have a considerably slashed price compared to something like a 66.
I also had some Gila things which snapped, so im interested to hear a review

You get what you pat for. all I can say.
shouldnt this be in parts and stuff?
^^^ i did think on that but im not exactly planning on buying them - just interested to hear some reviews
The crowns look a little bit small and flexi for a fork of that travel (up to 170mm). I think I would rather pay a little extra and get a 66, they are tried and tested and very bulletproof.

I think RST's make crap forks until you get to the top of their range. They are supposed to be awsome then
