The angle of the pic and the low design of the frame actually make it look crazy long. But it is considered a long frame - if you are anywhere near 6' tall (I'm 5'11") it will make hopping on the rear wheel actually feel comfortable :)

My old monty had a wheelbase of about 998.5mm
A Brisa 20" has a wheel base of about 1000mm

My Echo team is 1033mm. (mine is the large size - small is 1000mm)

You may think that theres not much difference in them all but the different frame geometry (shorter stays and higher BB) make it look/feel way longer.
And waaaaaaay better! :P

Yeah sorry - had a brain fart.
cm is now changed to mm.

SLB - no offence taken - I didn't much like my last ride either! Well the parts were ok but the frame was not. Hence the new purchase.

you appear to have a shocking chainline in that last pic. can you adjust the BB to compensate? (sp?)

Yeah the angle of that last pic makes the chain look wack. But the chainline is actually pretty good. I am running a wide BB (Un-52 127mm) but it's needed to:
1. give the crank arms more clearance of the chain stays
2. enable the use of freewheels that do not have the tabs ground off.

I am loving the wide BB which is a change from the 118mm one on my monty. Feels real stable.

Thanks for your comments!
