A freecoaster hub allows you to roll backwards without having to backpedal. I suppose going chainless give's you this ability without having a freecoaster hub

i rode chainless. gay. because i kept pedalling forwards
Hahah exactly the same with me; I always went to kick the pedals to half cab or whatnot and went over the bars a couple times, not cool.

Same happened but I got use to it, a bit. But it was wet so it was easier to just tire slide out of it. faking manuals are fun but feel so awkard.

i rekon its the weirdest feeling, you always go to pedal forwards and then in fakie you go to pesal backwards, i didn't like it but i have seen some guys running no chain or sproket and it does look cool
Yeah i've had chainless on and off for some time now. i loved it so much i got a freecoaster. Its getting built now.

with a freecoaster you can't move your feet around to maintain balance, otherwise the hub engages.
