well long story short, I bought the bigfoot in about may last year and one year on i've slowly upgraded almost everything except handle bars, stem, seat/seatpost and the rear wheel. just that and a frame and then i would have been done...

Thought 'yep, take it for a run at Eildon DH' and on my first run down came off just before bay 13 and snapped my leg. Both the Tibia and the fibula. ow. hospital for 4 days or something (cant remember exactly, gotta love the morphine buttons  ) and had a metal plate and 8 pins put in my leg attacted to the tibia, the fibula stays broken and hopefully mends itself.

so its time to sell the bike and i have no idea what price to start a sale it at, can someone give us some hints? thanks

Not looking to buy, just trying to help you out with a price. What year is it? (frame & forks). I would say 1000ish? Quality spec though!

The forks are a bit of a step up from the 100mm DJ 4's or whatever (my brother has a 07 bigfoot). Defentally some quality parts on the bike. Nice work:)

HEY! don't you be raggin on those beutiful dirt jam comps... they have 120mm's travel... DUH:p . just kidding buddy, got those hideous forks out as soon as i could. the boxxers are awesom on it, doesn't feel any different to ride besides the turning circle:D

Dirt Jam would suit it way better than boxxer's... :S

nuh, the boxxers are heaps better. the dirt jam comps topped out serously hard, then bottomed even harder. the boxxers on the other hand make the bike dont top, and rarely bottom. but then i dont use this machine for jumping. meh, person oppinion.

Dirt jam pro/comp?

I have had both and one topped out and the other didnt, you gotta make sure you buy the ones that dont top out!

yer i had comps, came stock. they're seriously bad forks. the 'pro's' might be better but i cant comment on them.

The boxxers are about 170mm. i feel alot safer on them then i did for the dirt jam comps. i was pretty sure one day i was going to ride of a gutter and they were going to fall to pieces. headtube is stil 100% visibly good so i feel perfectly safe on it.

Ahh well comp's are not as good as Pro.. which I have now, but they are Marzocchi not k-mart ot target so they wouldnt fall to pieces off a gutter, thats a bit over the top... Comps are a all mountain fork not really a DJ anyway.

and have to agree with benni, 170 is way to big, max id go is 120

Looks sick with the 2004 boxxers, the silver and green some how go together, i never thought those colours would have gone together ;)

Those triple clamps look huge on the big foot. How does it handle mate. Great work by the way.

thanks for all the comments, yer already had people asking for the brakes and forks... but i dont really want to split because then things like frame and back wheel will never sell.

All the people that think the forks are to big...THERE NOT. They ride so fine on it and very safe and they are a hell of a load better then those crappy dirt jam comps. Every 06 nigfoot i have rode all seem to have this top out problem unless upgraded forks, I really thing marzocchi(spelling) have gone really poverty pack on the forks that are on the begginer/advanched bikes for example the 07 norco 125 also has the major top out issue and they arent even the same fork as the dirt jam comps
