Decline Magazine have got some interesting photos of a few bikes that are being used at the Qashqai Urban Challenge over in Europe. Featuring downtube mounted shifters and hydraulic gyros.

(it's about the third story down, right after the giant airbag, also very cool)

Some of those bikes are quite cool.

But on the topic of the giant Airbag:

Giant Airbags, just like tramp biking but more expensive..

I'm sure it would be a lot more expensive than a foam pit, but I would think it would be more realistic thatn tramp biking. You ride an actual bike and hit an actual kicker so it's a lot closer to the real thing. My concern with the video is that it only shows guys landing their tricks. What about when someone uses it to try a backflip or front flip or 360 for the first time and it goes pear shaped? What's the landing like when you come downhead first instead of wheels first?
