Hey Guys!

This weekend that has just gone, my mate and I extended my previous Northshore because I was given a truck load of wood from a construction site. Little did we know it would go for 25.5m and be 1.7m high at the highest point. It is heaps of fun and there will be come better pics coming in the next week. But for now I only have the quick pics that were taken yesterday when it was finnally completed. And also for one weekends work it was a good effort. Also before you guys ask, these ramps are sturdy as, they do not move and are all braced to the supports.

We had friends over, so they got in a couple of the pictures and video, so you can ignore them.

Also here is a little video we made up from the digital camera, it isn't the best quality, but still is pretty cool. Keep an eye out for the little runner too. :D

We had a lot of fun making and riding it. Also A MASSIVE THANKS TO MY GRANDFATHER, for coming up with all of the structural design, he is the best grandfather ever.

Hope you enjoyed.

is it just that one strait line bit?

Dirt king

is it just that one strait line bit?yeh, it does make too small right hand turns, but it used to have a turn onto it and in the future I will attach a see-saw which will liven it up a bit, but it is really good for going real fast to jump the jumps down a little further.:D

hmm, pretty boring. with all that would i would have made a drop off my house :(. or AT LEASTTT a drop at the end of what you made. rather then just the ramp down

Dirt king

Yeah, there is still the drop at the end benni, just with the ramp you get a better run in for the jumps, don't have to pedal as much! :D

yer if you think about it what are you going to do when you get bored of it? By the way you built it its going to be hard to make any major changes on it.

yer if you think about it what are you going to do when you get bored of it? By the way you built it its going to be hard to make any major changes on it.Nah, we can just build mroe off the end of the 25m, because there is ample of room, so that isn't a problem, and I can always turn it off the stuff I have now. As far as putting it together, we used a hammer, but we got a drill and drilled the holes first, because hard wood is very hard to nail through without the assistance of a drill. So I would recommend drilling a very small hole first in everything you are going to nail, well especially the ramps. Yeah, can't wait to see what you create.

It looks boring you could hit that without even knowing it was there. You should make it thiner with a big drop. But it looks like its nicely built

you would have liked that wouldn't you from that smile!

na but going back to your latest wallride, i take it you get speed off this for the doubles and then for your wallride?

na but going back to your latest wallride, i take it you get speed off this for the doubles and then for your wallride? Yeah I think he would have liked that :p .

Well yes, because once you come of f the doubles, you have some room to pedal to jump up onto the step up (1m off the ground) and then you have to roll across it and then just land on the lander. When you land, you gain a lot of speed, but you are already going resonably quick, so yeah, we are hitting the berm with some speed, but when it is all done, we won't even have to touch the brakes, should be awesome, can't wait! :D

Thanks guys! :D

i think as you gradually get more confident on your "wallride" you should turn it into more of a traditional vertical wallride with a kicker, you have the room too.

Yeah, we do have a drop at the far end, just we put a ramp there, but we are hoping to make it taller in the next school holidays, and make the drop a little more substantial. :D
