Pretty sure it is in north west germany. I went there a few years back.

where is Winterberg?

Props to Maltman and Mick though!

It is in Northern Germany - it is about 45min drive from Willingen where they had the World Cup last year. It is a pretty cool little bike park. Although we would deny it if Europcar ever asked - our team manager swears you can run the berms on a section of the 4X track in a BMW hatchback...

Maltman was getting faster all weekend and is really enjoying having a small frame and NOT slamming into trees or having his shock explode underneath him (thanks for the concern custard)
